Exfoliation SIG

Mission

To increase the modern basic science and clinical knowledge on exfoliation syndrome and exfoliative glaucoma among ophthalmologists, and to increase the awareness of the disease.

Action plan

• Review presentations on all exfoliation-related research fields to provide updates on basic and clinical development in each EGS congress.
• Involving new researchers to present their novel results on exfoliation.
• Initiation of critical scientific discussion of the novel results.
• Providing updated clinical information on exfoliation via new editions of the XFS/XFG book.
